River levels have now fallen below the flood risk threshold and we expect to be able to remove this flood warning later this morning. Further showery rainfall is forecast over the next few days although this is not expected to have a significant effect on river levels. We continue to monitor the situation. Our incident response staff are checking the condition of defences. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and see the GOV.UK website for a 5 day flood forecast. River levels remain high but are beginning to fall, as a result of Storm Franklin. Consequently, the risk of flooding is reducing. Areas most at risk are areas around the Bradford and Bingley Sports Club. Further light rainfall is forecast over the next 48 hours. River levels are falling, but still pose a flood risk. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking defences and closely monitoring the forecast. River levels have peaked but remain high as a result of persistent (heavy) rainfall. Consequently, the risk of flooding remains. Areas most at risk are areas around Baildon Road. River levels have peaked and will remain high throughout this morning (21/2/2022). No further significant rain is forecast today, therefore levels are forecast to gradually drop.
